Alvin Toffler stated on his book ‘The Third Wave’ that the first wave was based on the agricultural technology, the second wave was based on the technology innovation from industrial revolution, the third wave comes from the highly developed technology science, in other words, information technology. Throughout ‘the third wave’, or information revolution which started 1960th , KCC Information & Communication has been growing with you for the past 40 years.
We are already used to the “Third Wave” which is based on information revolution. New technologies, such as satellite, computer and internet, have changed our life environment fundamentally., and even change human relations. Information revolution become ordinary life already, and furthermore, “Ubiquitous Business(U-business)” ,which makes possible to support information service anytime anywhere, is expected to lead economic and social change hereafter. Thus, U-business is expected to become core factor of social and corporate management change, and U-business environment is expected to be actual “The Third Industrial Revolution’ by having even further ripple effect than internet-based e-business.
